This is done in three 1-hour sessions and will provide you with the basic principles of Ayurveda as well as the three primary mind-body personalities / doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Learn how to select the most nourishing foods for your mind-body personality to maintain vibrant health, appropriate weight, and optimize digestion. Learn to practice conscious communication to enhance your relationships and help you to achieve emotional freedom. And finally, I’ll teach you to use your senses to access the power of your body’s inner pharmacy to heal, nourish, and maintain balance. Session one: I will give an introduction to the basic principles of Ayurveda, meditation, and yoga as well as the three mind-body personality /dosha. We will determine your dosha through a series of questions that will require you to reflect on your going back to your childhood. This allows us to determine your Prakruti, your true nature. You will learn how to select the most nourishing foods for your dosha. These nutritional practices will help you to maintain vibrant health, appropriate weight, and optimized digestion. Session two: You will learn to perpetually renew yourself each day by recognizing and eliminating toxins and by performing gentle rejuvenating techniques. You will also learn tools to practice conscious communication to enhance your relationships and help you to achieve emotional freedom. Session three: I will teach you to use your senses to access the power of your body's inner pharmacy to heal, nourish, and maintain balance.
